Outside

I can’t get enough of just being outside. I simply love being outside and feeling the weather any day. Hot, cold, wind, rain, snow…feeling current conditions is live.

Caldo De Cana

Or “guarapo,” is also known as raw cane juice. Randomly searching for local juice bars like Jamba Juice or Real Raw Live to satisfy my crave after hiking and lunch, I came across Raw Cane Super Juice I’ve sampled a couple raw mixes, and this particular potion definitely makes me feel more like a cave woman, less of an island girl. It’s like drinking grass juice, literally like sticking a straw straight into the earth. It’s fresh, natural, simply stated-raw. Unrefined sugars, chemical free, and lowers cholesterol. It’s not so bad though it’s definitely something to get used to. I currently have chlorophyll lime raw cane juice in the fridge-its green. My favorite so far is the coconut raw cane smoothie. Good stuff. Also, I must add, the people at Raw Cane Super Juice are nice.

One Week

Great film. Great soundtrack. Joshua Jackson. Canadia. Inspiring.

Negative

Adventures aren’t always going to be positive. Sometimes you’ve got to bite the dust before you hit the sack-and dust don’t taste good. If you think about it or not, maybe that’s what makes it an adventure anyway? Living with failures, mistakes, fighting and losing, only strengthens to get up again and try something different (perhaps after couple of days of wanting to give up). Bite it, eat it, eventually fall asleep only to wake up and do it again with unknown circumstances: adventure. Negatives such as becoming hopeless due to failures can evolve into an adventure ‘cause ultimately overtime something is learned (hopefully) and change occurs along the way. We never know what will happen and maybe, just maybe its best to make the most of it, regardless of the situation. Open up to chance and a little faith…what you see is what you get and what you do is what you achieve. C’est la fucking vie!
